Armour of Midnight is a armour added in Total War: Warhammer II. It is a legendary item for Malekith.

The quest to get the Armour of Midnight will generate during the Eye of the Vortex campaign after the player completes the first ritual, but before they complete the fourth one. In the Mortal Empires campaign the quest will trigger at the start of the game. The player must capture 5000 battle captives, and then they are rewarded with the Armour.

Previously, this was a hidden legendary item, until it was made accessible in the Potion of Speed Update.

Malekith's rune-armour is forged from the hardest meteoric iron and protects against any mortal weapon.

Effects[edit | edit source]

  • Armour: +12
  • Melee defence: +6
  • Physical resistance: +20%
  • Wound recovery time: -2
