Bestial Rage and Bray-Herds is a mechanic in campaign for the Beastmen. It is similar to the fightiness and Waaagh! armies mechanic for Greenskins.
Overview
Each Beastmen horde army has it's own Bestial Rage meter in the bottom left next to the portrait window. Bestial Rage slowly declines over time, and also declines after losing battles. Winning battles increases bestial rage.
There are 5 levels of Bestial Rage from low to high. Each has different effects:
Bestial Rage | Name | Effect |
---|---|---|
0-19 | Quarrelsome | Severe infighting attrition affects the horde |
20-39 | Unruly | Some infighting attrition affects the horde |
40-69 | Cowed | No effect |
70-79 | Eager | No effect |
80-100 | Brayherd | Bray-Herd is spawned if horde has 17 units or more. |
Effects on fightiness
Changes to fightiness will happen on the next turn from when the event happens:
Reduction:
- Losing a battle: ?
- Animosity (a global debuff every turn for all Greenskins factions): -1 per turn
Increase:
- Winning a battle: Depends? +18? +6? +2?
- Raiding.
Bray-Herds
If Bestial Rage is above 80 and there is 17 units or more in the horde, an AI-controlled Bray-Herd army will spawn. It can be given targets to attack by the player, but cannot be directly controlled.
When another faction summons a Bray-Herd, the player will get an event pop up on their turn notifying them of it.
