Bloody Spearz is a minor Greenskins faction introduced in Total War: Warhammer. They are led by Gnashrak and can be found close to Karaz-a-Karak in the World's Edge Mountains, in the northeastern part of the map.

Background[ | ]

The Bloody Spearz Tribe is a Night Goblin Greenskin Tribe that occupies the lost Dwarven Hold of Mount Gunbad. It took the hold over in IC 1457. Gunbad was the largest Dwarf mine in The Worlds Edge Mountains and has the largest concentrations of Brynduraz, a brilliant blue stone used in making Jewelry. Immediately after taking it though they had to worry about attack from The Red Cloud Goblins who infested the nearby peaks.[1]

The Bloody Spearz are real opportunists. Sitting at each end of the old Dwarf Silver Road, they have found rich pickings from the beleaguered Dwarf convoys. Many a Dwarven caravan, having survived the attacks of the White Orcs Tribe who hunt in the pass, will come stumbling out of the mountains, weary and battered, only to be set upon by the Bloody Spearz raiding parties.

They are so wealthy from the spoils of war that Orcs and Trolls have been known to flock to them in the hope of wealth and war.

In -1457 IC, the rich Dwarf mines of Mount Gunbad fell to the Bloody Spearz, who held it against treacherous attacks from the jealous Red Face Goblins inhabiting the surrounding mountains.

Diplomacy[ | ]

Diplomatic traits:

  • Aggressive
  • Unreliable
  • Underdog

Strategy[ | ]

The Bloody Spearz serve as an early opponent for Karaz-a-Karak. They control a large number of settlements and can take quite a while to get rid of.

In Immortal Empires they are both the early opponent of Karaz-a-Karak and Crooked Moon. Crooked Moon can potentially confederate them after two of three victories, putting them in a good position to roll straight into Karaz-a-Karak.

Provinces[ | ]

They start in control of Rib Peaks, parts of the Silver Road and Death Pass.

Trivia[ | ]

Though Gnashrak is the leader of the Bloody Spearz, in Immortal Empires he does not start off in control of the Gnashrak's Lair settlement, in Peak Pass.
