  • Wh2 dlc09 tmb constructs.pngConstruct: This unit is an animated construct (does not rout, is immune to terror, becomes unstable when Icon stat morale.pngmorale is low). Necrotects can push it to its full combat potential and restore it in battle.
  • Causes fear.png Can Cause Fear: This unit frightens all enemy units, reducing their Icon stat morale.pngleadership when nearby. It is also immune to fear. Fear penalties do not stack.
  • Causes terror.png Can Cause Terror: This unit can cause terror, making its melee target rout for a short time. Units that cause terror are immune to terror and fear themselves.

The Bone Giant or Necrolith Collossus is a Tomb Kings monster artillery unit which first appeared in Total War: Warhammer II.

The Bone Giant was released on May 31, 2018 as a free update for players who own Rise of the Tomb Kings. It does not require any separate download.

It is a giant skeleton statue which carries a huge bow, which fires projectiles over long range. The unit has a fairly slow rate of fire. The projectiles do magical AoE damage.

Background[edit | edit source]

While many Necrolith Colossi are sculpted into noble and proud forms - such as heroes of old or even Ptra himself - there are other enormous war statuaries carved to resemble giant skeletons, their huge forms adorned with mortuary ornamentation and dread hieroglyphics to tether a warrior’s soul within. The Bone Giants of Bhagar are such creations, magnificent colossi whose stone bodies and limbs were fashioned from a white marble said to be indistinguishable from bone. When the Bone Giants emerge, the ground shakes and the enemies of Nehekhara will surely die!

Attributes[edit | edit source]

  • Armoured: Armoured units can block damage from any source apart from Armour-Piercing damage.
  • Armour-Piercing Missiles: The damage of armour-piercing weapons mostly ignores the armour of the target, making them the ideal choice against heavily-armoured enemies. They are often heavier and attack at a slower rate though, making them less efficient against poorly-armoured targets.
  • Causes Terror: This unit can cause terror, making its melee target rout for a short time. Units that cause terror are immune to terror and fear themselves.

Keep the bone giant in the back of your line. Target enemy lords or other high value targets to quickly eliminate. Also good against monster unit. While the Bone Giant is not amazing in melee, it is still a giant fear and terror causing monster that can certainly do some damage and scare enemies away.
