- Not to be confused with the Warriors of Chaos faction or the Chaos Warriors Race Pack.
Chaos Warriors are a Warriors of Chaos melee infantry unit introduced in Total War: Warhammer. Chaos Warriors come alive in the midst of bloody battle; they thrive when slaughtering similar foes.
Chaos Warriors are fighters of unmatched prowess. Their strength is infernal and their bodies are as tough as the Iron Mountains. Imbued with the power of Chaos and encased in suits of hell-forged armour, a Chaos Warrior is equal to several battle-hardened mortal men. They are no longer truly human, but living weapons, honed perfectly for the bloody tasks before them. A Chaos Warrior has no need of food, drink or sleep, for he is nourished by the carnage that he wreaks. He has nothing but contempt for the weak or the cowardly and goes about the business of murder with a vengeance, for there is always a part of the man who was that rages against that which he has become. A Chaos Warrior's only solace is in slaughter - the fulfilment of his new existence as an instrument of his blasphemous God's will, and at battle's end, his armour is spattered with the lifeblood of the slain.
- ↑ Armoured & Shielded: Armoured units can block damage from any source apart from Armour-Piercing damage. Shields have a chance of blocking arrows, bolts, rifle shots and similar small arms fire - but only in a forward facing arc.

Chaos Warriors are the main line infantry for Chaos and they are a cut above most standard infantry units. The only basic infantry unit that could best them might be Saurus Warriors. This unit has solid melee stats, great armour, and a silver shield. Their downsides are that they are slow and do not have the most armour piercing. That being said their armour piercing is not bad, so beware Chaos Warriors if you do not have armour piercing or strong melee stats to fight back.
