Potions, poisons, and words of power, to affect weak minds or strike their owners down.

Death Hag is a Dark Elves Dark Elves Hero unit introduced in Total War: Warhammer II.

Recruitment[ | ]

Description[ | ]

The Death Hags are the priestesses of the Witch Elves, the guardians of Khaine's mysteries. It is they who mix the noxious potions that drive the Witch Elves into their battle-rage and they who craft the potions with which they taint their blades. They know also how to wield the secret names of their god as obscene weapons that can befuddle their foes or strike them down with madness.

Attributes[ | ]

  • Wh2 main def dignitary Melee Specialist
  • Anti-Infantry: Anti-infantry units have an advantage against targets that are smaller than a horse. This advantage can be a damage bonus against small targets, superior weight used to smash through lighter enemies, or an explosive attack from range that effects a large area.
  • Damage Dealer: This unit has a strong emphasis on dealing damage. If fighting it, make sure to take it out before it can get into firing or melee range.
  • Poison Attacks: The Modifier icon poisonpoisonous attacks of this unit weaken the target's speed and damage and/or apply the Poison! debuff.
  • Dodge: This highly dexterous unit dodges blades and missiles with ease; its luck is known to run out quickly when facing magical weapons, however.

As the attributes suggest, this unit is a damage dealer, she has decent melee stats alongside a hefty bonus vs. infantry. She is best within your front line, devastating the enemy and augmenting allies. On the Cauldron of Blood she becomes much better at this role at the cost of making her a large unit (and large target for the enemy) and losing melee stats.
