Disturbing the Dead

Whilst Scouting the outskirts of a recently-ruined settlement you notice, on the edge of town, a small, secluded graveyard.
Leave the graves alone[edit | edit source]
Only a fool would disturb the dead. The best thing for everyone -living and dead - is that you leave. Now, without further ado.
- Nothing happens.
Dig up the graves[edit | edit source]
One of the corpses is bedecked in finery and still clutches his weapons. A powerful magical aura emanates from the grave.
- Receive a common item. Eg: Dawnstone (Common Talisman; Physical resistance: 15%)
- or Accursed trait (-3% Leadership)
Search the area for tracks[edit | edit source]
It seems whoever buried the bodies has long since departed and it's unlikely you'd be able to track them down now anyway.
Eye of the Vortex campaign:
- Ritual Currency +50
- Or: Nothing happens.
Playing Tomb Kings / another campaign:
- Nothing happpens.
Magically search the graves[edit | edit source]
There are no traces of magic on these graves, it must've been a trick of the light and nothing more. Let the dead rest in peace.
