High Elves rites

The four basic High Elves rites.

Rites should not be confused with rituals for the Eye of the Vortex.
High Elves rite

A High Elves rite being performed.

These are the rites available to High Elves factions in the campaign mode of Total War: Warhammer II.

Invocation of Hoeth[ | ]

Lord of Wisdom, God of Learning and Sorcery. Those who invoke him gain precious insight and may divine the Winds of Magic.

Cost: 2000, Cooldown: 20 turns, Duration: 5 turns

  • Experience gain: 50% for Mages and Loremasters of Hoeth
  • Experience per turn: +200 for Mages and Loremasters of Hoeth
  • Winds of Magic power reserve: +30
  • Hero action success chance: +40% for Mages and Loremasters of Hoeth

Invocation of Asuryan[ | ]

The Creator, greatest upon the Mandala; his name alone can calm princes, tame courts and embolden all.

Cost: 2000, Cooldown: 20 turns, Duration: 5 turns

Invocation of Isha[ | ]

The Mother Godess, purity is her virtue. The tears she weeps for her children can cleanse the land of any taint. Cost: 4000, Cooldown: 40 turns, Duration: 10 turns

Greater Invocation of Isha[ | ]

This replaces the standard version for the Avelorn faction.

Same as the standard except it provides Regeneration for Forest Spirit units.

Invocation of Vaul[ | ]

The Invocation of Vaul dilemma.

The Maker, patron of Elven smiths. Items bearing his mark are the greatest of their kind. Cost: 1500, Cooldown: 30 turns, Duration: 10 turns

  • A dilemma will appear, allowing the player to choose 1 of 4 powerful crafted items. There are 5 different Dilemmas, each with 4 set items (see here for the items sorted by dilemma). Every time the Rite is performed, one of the dilemmas is randomly chosen.
  • Recruitment cost: -10% for Swordmasters of Hoeth, White Lions of Chrace, Phoenix Guard and Dragon Princes units
  • Armour: +5 for Swordmasters of Hoeth, White Lions of Chrace, Phoenix Guard and Dragon Princes units
  • Unit experience: +2 for Swordmasters of Hoeth, White Lions of Chrace, Phoenix Guard and Dragon Princes unit recruits
  • Army Ability: Vaul's Hammer during siege battles

Greater Invocation of Vaul[ | ]

This rite replaces the standard version for the Knights of Caledor faction.

Cost: 1500, Cooldown: 30 turns, Duration: 10 turns

  • A dilemma will appear, allowing the player to choose 1 of 4 powerful crafted items. There are 5 different Dilemmas, each with 4 set items (see here for the items sorted by dilemma). Every time the Rite is performed, one of the dilemmas is randomly chosen.
  • Enables flaming attacks (all armies)
  • Armour: +5 for Swordmasters of Hoeth, White Lions of Chrace, Phoenix Guard and Dragon Princes units
  • Army Ability: Vaul's Hammer during siege battles
  • Ability number of uses: +3 for all Dragon Breath attacks

Invocation of Lileath[ | ]

This rite replaces the Invocation of Hoeth for the Avelorn faction.

The patron of seers and prophets, she is prayed to for clarity, prophecy and foresight. Cost: 2000, Cooldown: 15 turns, Duration: 5 turns

Invocation of Morai-Heg[ | ]

This rite replaces the Invocation of Hoeth for the Nagarythe faction.

The Elven Goddess of Fate and Death. Within her rune pouch she holds the fate of all creatures on the mortal plane. Cost: 2500, Cooldown: 15 turns

  • Summon the Hand of the Shadow Crown at Alith Anar's location.
  • He is a unique hero who can assassinate any character without failing.
  • After assassinating, he will fade away into the shadow realm once more.

Invocation of Eldrazor[ | ]

This rite replaces Invocation of Hoeth for the Knights of Caledor faction.

The Lord of Blades: a fell name, but a tempting patron for duellists and warriors. Cost: 1500, Cooldown: 30 turns, Duration: 10 turns

  • Experience per turn: +200 for Lords and Nobles
  • Experience Gain: +50% for Lords and Nobles
  • Armour-piercing weapon damage: +25% for Lords, embedded Heroes and Dragon Princes
  • Diplomatic relations: -15 for High Elves
  • Melee attack: +10 for Lords, Embedded Heroes, and Dragon Princes

Invocation of Ladrielle[ | ]

This rite replaces the Invocation of Isha for Yvresse.

The lady of mists, the protector of the hidden, whose face is eternally hidden behind a silken shroud.

  • Attrition: +200% casualties suffered from Mists of Yvresse (regions with the Mists of Yvresse)
  • Campaign movement range -15% for enemy armies starting their turn in this region (regions with the Mists of Yvresse)
  • Enemy leadership -8 (regions with the Mists of Yvresse)
  • Ambush success chance +15% (all armies)
  • Army ability: Envelop in Mist (all armies)

Rite unlocks after upgrading Yvresse defence level to 1.
