Icehorn Marauders are a Norsca Regiment of Renown unit in Total War: Warhammer. Chaos Marauders are the rank and file of Chaos armies, perfectly placed in the center of battle, bloodied weapon in hand.

Description[edit | edit source]

Icehorn Peak is situated in the far north of the Old World, on the penumbra of the Realm of Chaos, and the Icehorn Tribe that eke out a living from the god-touched wilderness are well used to seeing the shimmering landscape disgorge entire hosts of daemons. It is the stronghold of Orghotts Daemonspew and his Maggot Riders.

Attributes[edit | edit source]

  • Shielded: Shields have a chance of blocking arrows, bolts, rifle shots and similar small arms fire - but only in a forward facing arc.
  • Perfect Vigour: Even when performing the most fatiguing acts, this unit never loses vigour.
  • ↑ Immune to Psychology: The unit is immune to psychological attacks (fear and terror).

Perfect Vigour and immune to psychology do wonders to make this unit a more efficient and reliable front line unit. Their Rage will also help keep them fighting for longer. While they do not compare to the raw damage output of Marauder Berserkers, they are a sturdy unit that will hold for a long time.
