The largest smelteries in the Empire are in Nuln, where the Imperial Gunnery School stretches across an entire district, which has developed into a warren of forges, gunsmiths' workshops and pock-marked shooting ranges. The Dwarfs, too, have gigantic smelteries deep within their Dwarfholds, places of extreme heat and choking ash.
