Background
Pillars of skulls are not uncommon in the wastes close to the Realm of Chaos. They are said to be the bounty of the Chaos Knights, their many victims impaled on blackened lances, their souls sent to the Chaos Gods in payment for Chaos Armour and fell steeds.
