Rebel Scum is a treasure hunt that can occur when searching ruins in Total War: Warhammer II.

Guide[edit | edit source]

Investigating the outbuildings behind the ruins of a luxurious villa, you find a large group of survivors hiding in a barn. Sneaking upquietly you hear them talking of rebellion and their hatred for your regime!

Walk Away[edit | edit source]

There's no reason to engage with desperate people; oft-times, such schemes come to naught anyway. You decide to leave them to their seditious talk and walk away quietly.

  • Nothing happens.

Trap them inside and burn the warehouse[edit | edit source]

Providence has brought you here to silence these agitators afore they can act! Their screams fill the air as the barn burns to the ground. Your people feel much safer in their beds.

  • Global buff: Rebel Scum; Public Order: +3 (all provinces); 5 turns
  • Vortex post Hellebron - nothing happens they just burn.
  • Nothing happens is also a possible outcome on ME

Offer to trade with them[edit | edit source]

Your friendly offer to trade breaks the ice. The dissenters agree to trade weapons for supplies. Unfortunately, their offerings are inferior, but a deal is a deal; at least the rebels are deprived of arms!

Or, possibly instead:

  • Rebel Scum (Melee Attack +10) for 3 Turns
  • Treasury -500

Demand their surrender[edit | edit source]

Entering the barn, you challenge the survivors and a stand-off ensues. Enraged by your arrogance, they refuse to surrender. Rallying together, they defame you as a tyrant.

  • Global debuff: Rebel Scum; Public order: -10 (all provinces); 5 turns.

Or, possibly instead:

  • Rebel Scum (Melee Attack +10) for 3 Turns
