In Total War: Warhammer's regional occupation system, Reikland is a temperate lowland province which can be settled by human factions and Vampire Counts.
Gameplay[ | ]
Reikland is the home province of The Empire and Empire Secessionists factions. Reikland borders The Wasteland to the west, Middenland and Talabecland to the north, and Wissenland and Averland to the east. To the south it is guarded by the Southern Grey Mountains and Dwarf factions like Karak Norn.
The terrain is mostly forest, with some roads.

Trivia[ | ]
- The Empire is heavily rooted in German tropes and stereotypes, most evident in the naming. Reikland would literally mean "King's Realm", since it's a portmanteau of the German term Reich, using the Gothic version (Reiks) and German Land.
- Altdorf is the heart of the empire, but in German, the name literally means Old Village. Similarly, the names for other settlements come from Germanic names: Grunburg means Green Town, Eilhart shares its name with a 12th century German poet, and Ubersreik would mean, loosely translated, High Realm.
