Rib Peaks is a central region of the World's Edge Mountains, its valleys connecting Karaz-a-Karak to the south with Karak Kadrin and the Northern World's Edge Mountains beyond. Ruined Dwarf strongholds dot the snowy landscape, testament to the hard battles they fought and lost to keep it out of Greenskins hands.
Notably Grom the Paunch led his Waagh here after rising to prominence in The Wolf Lands. After sacking several minor strongholds, he had a statue of the Dwarf God Grungni hacked down and replaced with a statue of himself. The Dwarfs led a furious crusade against him in response, but despite killing many a goblin never got close to either driving Grom off or bringing his statue down. It has remained as an enduring symbol of the humiliations the elder race have suffered at the hands of the Greenskins ever since.
