Rodrik L'Anguille is a unique hero unit for The Huntsmarshal's Expedition, introduced in Total War: Warhammer II with The Hunter and the Beast DLC.
Rodrik can be recruited by Markus Wulfhart to serve in his armies and is basically a modified Paladin.
Some time around the coronation of Karl Franz, a Bretonnian army arrived in Lustria and set their sights on Xlanhuapec, hoping to plunder the great city's riches. While inside the city, however, a large Lizardmen force attacked the Bretonnians from all sides, resulting in a slaughter. Only one man is known to have escaped the carnage, Rodrik L'Anguille. He is later found by Markus Wulfhart's men and requests help with avenging the fallen by capturing the City of Mist.
- ↑ Anti-Large: Anti-large units have an advantage against targets that are at least as large as a horse. This advantage can be a damage bonus against large targets or an attack that focuses on a very small area. However, some units are simply better against large targets because their attacks are slow and easy to dodge by skilled melee combatants.
- ↑ Armoured & Shielded: Armoured units can block damage from any source apart from Armour-Piercing damage. Shields have a chance of blocking arrows, bolts, rifle shots and similar small arms fire - but only in a forward facing arc.
