In-game description[ | ]

The harsh weather has caused severe damage to our timber reserves, makin' it difficult to repair any combat-damaged ships at sea. We must now choose where to focus our remaining resources - should our ships suffer or our settlements?

Requirements[ | ]

Trigger timing[ | ]

  • As soon as all requirements are met there is a random chance the dilemma will trigger immediately.

Options[ | ]

Option 1: Support Our Settlements[ | ]

  • The Fleet Suffers Construction
    • Turns remainingCampaign turns: 3
    • Construction cost Treasury: +40% for ship buildings (all armies)
    • Construction time Construction: +100% for ship buildings (all armies)

We have moved all our remaining resources into our settlements, but our fleets suffer as a result.

Our fleet is already strong, so we must focus on buildin' up our settlements instead. We'll need to focus all resources an' labour on the towns to do this.

Option 2: Support Our Fleet[ | ]

  • The Settlements Suffer Construction
    • Turns remainingCampaign turns: 3
    • Construction cost Treasury: +20% for settlement buildings (all regions)
    • Construction time Construction: +50% for settlement buildings (all regions)

We have moved all our remaining resources to our fleets, but our settlements suffer as a result.

Our fleet is the backbone of our empire, so we must reinforce it if we're to, er, 'survive'. We'll need to divert all resources an' labour to our ships if this is to work!
