Talons of Tor Caleda (Archers - Light Armour) is a High Elves Regiment of Renown missile infantry unit in Total War: Warhammer II. Fighting with virtue innate and an innate loyalty to their kin, the Talons eschew obedience for righteous cause.

Description[edit | edit source]

At the time of the Dark Elf invasion, it was rare for warriors of Caledor to serve upon the gates, for Imrik had otherwise been true to his word that the Dragonrealm would stand alone. However, a few regiments chose to go against their prince's wishes, seeing loyalty to their comrades as more important than obedience to their prince. The Talons of Tor Caleda were made up of such forces, their defiance all the more paining to Imrik as their banner was first raised in the city from which the prince ruled.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

  • Good Range: This unit has a larger range than most other units of the same class. This allows it to take out hostile missile units before they can come into firing range.

This unit imbues the Flammable! Contact Effect and deals fire damage with its missiles. They also have Martial Mastery rather than Martial Prowess which is a small bonus to their melee stats, making them decently survivable. Generally, however they are a valuable unit for imbuing fire weakness and using the fire damage from Sisters of Avelorn or dragons/phoenixes to capitalize on.
