Generic Items[ | ]

The table below includes all the generic items that were introduced with the base game at launch or in later patches. They are mostly exclusive to the new races introduced in this second iteration of the game trilogy, though some of the items added in the Resurgent Update are available to a few of the races from Total War: Warhammer I as well; and some items for the Vampire Coast are accidentally available to all factions.

Generic Items can be randomly found by the factions they are available to as post-battle loot or stolen from enemy Lords after defeating them in battle. Sometimes, they are also given as rewards for Missions, unearthed in Treasure hunts in Ruins (only in Total War: Warhammer II) or found in Encounters at Sea.

Unique items[ | ]

This section groups together all unique rarity items introduced in Total War: Warhammer II, including all its DLCs, with most belonging to legendary lords and unique heroes .
Most unique items are gained through ranking up, thus automatically unlocking a certain skill, and then completing a quest which culminates in a set piece battles.
