A poor Dwarf with no vocation or Clan allegiance will either become a Slayer or gravitate towards the trade of a tinker ... an iterant whose store is little more than a bench and the items in his sack. As well as his stock, he also has a knack for fixing things, whether that's creating tinker's dams from pots and pans or more complex repairs on larger tools.
