Bestial Rage is a mechanic in campaign for the Beastmen, which was totally overhauled in Total War: Warhammer II.
For the version in Total War: Warhammer, including Bray-Herds, please see Bestial Rage (Total War: Warhammer).
How it works[ | ]
Each Beastmen horde army has a Bestial Rage meter, located to the right of the lord's portrait in the bottom left of the screen. Higher levels of Bestial Rage increase growth, with a bonus to replenishment at the highest level. The player can hover their mouse over the meter to get a breakdown of what is causing their Bestial Rage to go up or down.
Horde armies can increase Bestial Rage by:
- Winning battles
- Raiding the surrounding area
- Choosing the Raze & Loot option after taking a settlement
Horde armies decrease Bestial Rage by:
- Losing battles
- Taking casualties in battles
- Spending multiple turns without fighting, sieging a settlement, or raiding
- There is a small amount of loss each turn due to animosity
