Trivia[ | ]

Jabberslyth, Ghorgon and "Charlemagnes"[ | ]

Two notable Beastmen units that were not included in the DLC were the Jabberslyth and Ghorgon. These were large monster units unique to the Beastmen, which had models in the Warhammer tabletop game. CA's explanation for not including these units was that they would cost too much to model and animate. CA gave the example that the Jabberslyth would have cost as much to create as the entire art budget for the "Age of Charlemagne" DLC for Total War: Attila (a historical Total War game). This gave rise to a meme in the Total War community where "a charlemagne" became a unit of measurement for money, and players would ask how many charlemagnes something cost.

The two monster units were finally added in the update The Silence & The Fury.
