Northern Yvresse is a province in introduced in Total War: Warhammer II, located in Ulthuan. It has an island climate. The Yvresse faction starts here.
Background
Yvresse is one of the outer kingdoms of Ulthuan. Facing the threats of invaders from the east has hardened the elves of Yvresse, and they can seem rather grim and serious to other elves. Their leader, Prince Eltharion the Grim, Warden of Yvresse, takes his duty to protect the eastern coast very seriously. All of Ulthuan is sparsely populated, but Yvresse is even moreso - filled with forests and wilderness between mountains and sea. Yvresse is also famous for the Mists of Yvresse], a magical fog which leads trespassers and invaders astray.
Gameplay
Northern Yvresse borders Southern Yvresse and Cothique.
When playing as Broken Axe (Grom), Southern and Northern Yvresse begin the campaign affected by the Mists of Yvresse.
