Undead

Undead is an attribute introduced in Total War: Warhammer. A unit with this attribute is immune to Terror, routing and gains the following abilities: Crumbling and Disintegrating which will trigger when an Undead unit reaches low leadership thresholds. In addition, an Undead unit is the target of the following abilities and spells:

• Bane of the Dead
• Invocation of Nehek
• Master of the Dead
• The Curse of Undeath
• The Reliquary Binding
• The Restless Dead
• Unholy Lodestone

This attribute is innately available to Tomb Kings, Vampire Coast and Vampire Counts. Other races that possess this attribute through special cases are Kislev, Skaven and The Empire.

Description

This unit is Undead (does not rout, is immune to terror, becomes unstable when Leadership is low).

Notes

• Some units are lore wise living such as: Heinrich Kemmler, Helman Ghorst, Master Necromancer and Necromancer but are still counted as undead for the purposes of the game.
• There are some exceptions within the undead factions such as Sartosa Free Company, Sylvanian Handgunners and Sylvanian Crossbowmen as they are living humans. As such, they don't have the Undead attribute.
