Vampire Coast Mutineers is a minor faction of Vampire Coast introduced in the Aye-Aye! Patch for Total War: Warhammer II.

As Luthor Harkon's faction now only controls the Awakening settlement in the Vampire Coast province, this faction was created to control the rest of it and serve as a first enemy for Harkon.

They are similar to the Crooked Moon Mutinous Gits in that they were also created when the original faction that controlled that territory was made playable.

They appear to be the only minor faction of Vampire Coast in the game, not counting special armies like Rogue Armies and such.

Strategy

From Luthor Harkon's perspective this faction serves as an early game enemy and should be wiped out accordingly. One could leave them if they trust their garrison defenses to hold and wanted to fully commit to sailing the high seas. Given that Vampire Coast factions are generally hostile to each other (and cannot confederate), there is no sense for any of the other Coast factions to seek treaties with them. For almost every other faction in Lustria, they are an annoying source of corruption that should be destroyed the second your lands border each other. Their corruption can become particularly bad in a Wulfhart campaign if allowed to stay alive for too long. Lizardmen factions in Lustria should also plan on destroying them, but they will probably come last after the Skaven and the Dark Elves.
